​First Aid Qualification for Childcare and Education

Enrol in HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting to gain the skills needed to respond effectively to first aid emergencies in educational and childcare environments. This course covers essential areas, including:

Comprehensive First Aid for Education and Care

HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting provides practical training to respond to first aid emergencies, in line with legal and workplace requirements, Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, and other national peak clinical bodies.

  • Identifying illness or injury

  • Accessing emergency services

  • Providing first aid treatment using action plans, equipment, and resources

  • CPR and defibrillation

  • Administering auto-injectors (EpiPen®) for anaphylaxis

Aged Care and Disability Training
